It was created by the association Visa pour l'Image, which runs Visa for Image, the largest photojournalism festival in the world since 1989. Its vocation is to defend, promote and develop the photojournalism professions, essential to the preservation of our collective memory, the writing of our history and the defense of freedom of expression in the world.
