It's because our little - and sometimes big - failings are eternal that it's worthwhile, from time to time, to ask an independent, objective observer to map them out for us as faithfully as possible. So, for 50 years now, Roland Magdane has been sharing his everyday misadventures with us, between a family overwhelmed by events and an environment totally unsuited to his naiveté, often holding up a mirror that's anything but distorting. These hilarious, gently ferocious and mercilessly tender slices of life have stayed with us over the years, leaving us with lasting memories ("Benoît", "La lettre", "Je récapépette"). One day, France's most "lin lin" comedian had to take a look in the rear-view mirror, to bring things full circle before moving on.
So, he delved into his archives and concocted a roboratif best-of for us, made up of cult sketches, never-recorded performances ("Les organes", "L'épicier", "La tarte aux pruneaux") and more recent but unforgettable facetiousness like "La thalasso", to compose an explosive cocktail of laughter to be consumed without any form of moderation!
