A few centuries later, the outcome is less fatal for the gladiators of laughter, but the battle is no less fierce when the time comes to face adversity. For it is here, on these light-flooded stages, that Laura Calu wages a duel, for laughs, against herself first and foremost, but also against the inconsistencies of our epic age. And as she knows no tongue in cheek, the arrows are inevitably a little more precise, a little bloodier. And if, as the story unfolds, her dark side tries to regain power, censor her, contradict her or make her realize what she's doing, it doesn't matter, Laura does as she pleases, allowing herself to do what we no longer allow ourselves, or no longer allow ourselves enough, such as talking about everything and nothing, complexes and death, society's madness and the injunctions to be kind, because it's vital to laugh at everything, and first and foremost at ourselves!
