Presentation

📍 Théâtre de l'Archipel - Le Grenat

Bruits Blancs celebrates the encounter between a writer and a musician in original twenty-minute sequences based on musical improvisation. Three original duets emerge from these fruitful dialogues between literature and sound exploration.

The audience is seated with the artists on the Grenat stage.

Artistic vitality can only be found in constant research, discovery and the opening up of unknown paths... It is in this spirit of adventure that Bruits Blancs offers artists a space for creation and exchange, for singular exploration, capable of initiating unexpected collaborations. Bringing together an author and a musician who don't necessarily know each other, this playful, outspoken project explores the inexhaustible territories of artistic research that we witness first-hand. From this confrontation between literary writing and musical composition, infinitely rich sound languages are born before our very eyes.

AUJOURD'HUI MUSIQUES 2024 FESTIVAL

Every year, the Aujourd'hui Musiques Festival takes place in Perpignan for a week in November. A festival of "sound creations", it builds bridges between different forms of contemporary expression. Founded in 1992 by Daniel Tosi, composer, conductor and director of the Perpignan Conservatoire, Aujourd'hui Musiques promotes an open, rich and eclectic approach, with an increased presence of dance, circus, cinema and multimedia since 2012. Artists and composers at the cutting edge of contemporary creation, not forgetting the essential works of the 20th century, are to be discovered at the various shows offered at the Théâtre de l'Archipel. The festival also organizes meetings with artists, guided public rehearsals, masterclasses, lectures and workshops.
