Located on the former Remparts ditches, the square has been a veritable green institution for 2 centuries.
Recently, this 3-hectare park, considered to be the city's green lung, was renovated with the aim of restoring a major ecological heritage.
Enriched with new paths, the square is now open to the outside world.
Don't miss: the oldest plane trees (1809) near the Belloch fountain. Admire a Gingko Biloba with a circumference of 3.80 m and a height of 30 m, and two hundred-year-old Washingtonia Filifera palms, 18 m high!
