The Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Perpignan is a French natural history museum located in a mansion
Hôtel Çagarriga, in Perpignan, Pyrénées-Orientales. The core collections come from
the cabinet of curiosities created by the University of Perpignan in 1770.
Located in the heart of the city, the Perpignan Natural History Museum offers an overview of the biodiversity and geodiversity of the Pyrénées-Orientales region. Its permanent tour takes you on a scientific walk around
coastal ponds, the Pyrenean mountains and the Roussillon plain.
The wolf, the bear and the desman are just some of the specimens of our territory presented in our showcases.
Located in the Çagarriga mansion, which dates back to the 16th century, the Museum offers temporary exhibitions and educational activities throughout the year, making it a place of discovery for all.
