PERPIGNAN MÉDITERRANÉE REGIONAL CONSERVATORY
Presentation
The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) de Musique, de Danse et d'Art dramatique Perpignan Méditerranée is a specialized arts teaching establishment managed by the Perpignan Méditerranée agglomeration community, under the educational supervision of the French Ministry of Culture.
Founded around 1850, the conservatory was created on the initiative of the city of Perpignan. The national scope of its teaching, the search for an ever more assertive identity and the desire to compensate for its geographical isolation through the quality of the services it offers, enabled it to obtain the label of Ecole Nationale de Musique (ENM), followed in 1999 by that of Conservatoire National de Région (CNR).
